What was your college experience like? Remember when you first stepped on campus as a freshman, full of hope and excitement? For many students who come from low-income communities and are the first in their families to go to college, taking that first step on campus can feel like taking a step onto the moon: a high-stakes transition into an unfamiliar environment with enormous pressures and expectations they don’t fully understand. Worse, they don’t know what they don’t know.
